This scale will always apply. We do not curve grades.
Homeworks and tests
We will have 9 regular homeworks, 1 virtual field trip and 10 weekly online tests. For each of these, you can accumulate up to 5 points.
Gradescope - Homework Grading
We will use Gradescope to grade homeworks. Please register at the beginning of the quarter, before homework 1 is due. The best way to do this is to go through the UCSD Canvas class website under the Gradescope tab. You can also sign up at at gradescope.com directly, using course entry code BKRVED. Please use your UCSD email address and student ID as well as your full name as registered with UCSD. Registration will ensure that your assignments are properly graded, that you receive your credit, and that you can check your your graded homework.
