    1. Office hours with Prof. Laske will be held virtually via Zoom/Canvas every Monday at 5 pm, except for 11/11 when no classes are scheduled at UCSD. Please find Zoom info on Canvas.

      23 July 2024:
    1. The class website is being updated for Fall Quarter 2024. Some info may still be for the last time we taught: FQ23.
    2. To find the course syllabus, please go through the menu on the left. Under "General Info" (keep the mouse there for a second to open a second menu) you will then find the link to the Syllabus. Or go through this link.
    3. The course book was written from material taught in this course. It should be considered 'required', particularly if students are non-science freshmen. For more advanced students, the book provides useful additional in-depth reading.
    4. To find short 5-10-minute videos on class material, access them through the "Lecture schedule and Material" -> "Lecture Schedule" tab. Find the short videos in the rightmost column. Short videos are test material. As of today, video #1 that should introduce you on how to navigate through the website still shows the homework schedule for Fall Quarter 2023. Please ignore the scheduling specifics and consult the homework page instead.
    5. Please go to the grades page to find the course entry code for Gradescope.
